Server Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Server Assistant, or someone eager to learn, to join our team. This is a nontipping position, but we make up for it with great benefits and a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Food Delivery
You shall bring food from the kitchen to the guests using oval trays, ensuring orders are accurate and arrive quickly.
Guest Requests
When guests need something, whether it’s a second round of drinks or a check, you shall inform the server or manager to make sure the request is handled.
Refill water, coffee, and tea, and handle OCC tea backups.
Food Safety
You shall need to comply with all Department of Health food safety guidelines. Reset tables, and bar tops, and help set up large parties when needed.
Clear tables as necessary after food is delivered. Keep the bussing stations stocked, roll silverware, and polish glasses. Stock to-go containers and ensure the kitchen line stays clean and organized.
You shall prepare non alcoholic drinks like hot chocolate and coffee, as well as desserts for guests when needed.
Teamwork and Engagement
Connect with members, fellow staff, and leadership through eye contact, smiles, and friendly greetings to make everyone’s experience enjoyable. If there’s a banquet, you’ll assist with setting up and making sure everything is ready.
Shift Deities
Pre and post Shift duties ensure everything is set up and broken down properly in the kitchen and server front line area.
